International Internship Program

In a globalized world, connected but divided, TYO embraces the value of intercultural exchange. The Nablus center has since 2008 hosted 124 international interns from different countries, who work in close contact with local communities to help TYO make a difference.

While contributing to creating a positive impact in disadvantaged areas, an internship at TYO offers students, recent graduates, and young professionals the chance to develop their professional and intercultural skills through gaining working experience in a non-profit organization in the Middle East.

Interns work full-time for a period of three months in cooperation with TYO local and international staff. Depending on their interests and expertise, interns are active in areas including teaching English as a Foreign Language; sports, drama, and art classes; social media, design, photography and videography; monitoring and evaluation; and curriculum development.

Besides receiving assistance in reaching their personal internship goals, interns are provided with in-depth cultural orientation, housing and board, and educational trips through the West Bank. You can read about the experiences of current and previous interns on our blog.
