Fostering Women Entrepreneurs in the Middle East (FWEME) Launches in Lebanon and is Seeking Applicants!

Upon the successful completion of the Women Entrepreneurs in Lebanon (WEL) pilot program in North Lebanon, TYO-L is proud to announce the launch of our next program, focused on empowering women in the region! TYO-L, in partnership with TYO and the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women (CBFW), is excited to begin work in the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon and in Palestine, with a new group of beneficiaries, in the FWEME project. TYO-L is now reaching out to potential participants, for the interest in benefiting from the program’s Phase I. TYO-L is recruiting 45-60 women from rural communities in the Bekaa Valley to participate in an intensive 4-day Business Basics training course, held in Zahle, Bekaa. The training will focus on developing an understanding of the process behind creating a business plan. It will also provide general understandings of accounting/bookkeeping and access to finance as it applies to businesses in Lebanon and Palestine.

TYO is actively seeking women with creative business ideas who are looking for additional business skills and support to grow their businesses. We look forward to providing a variety of trainings and services to help you reach your business goals!
