Humans of Nablus 52

Hello! My name is Ezz, I’m 12 years old, and I’m from Nablus. 

One thing you should know about me is that I am really passionate about music, and I love playing the tabla. 

Living in Nablus, I enjoy walking around the city and meeting new people. Especially during Ramadan, because the atmosphere is unique - the city feels magical! I also like going out to restaurants in town with my family, trying something different and creating special memories with them.

As a matter of fact, I also have a passion for cooking. I love preparing meals, and one of my dreams is to open my own restaurant someday. I plan on studying business management to help me run my restaurant successfully. Beyond that, I want to be an influential person who can bring positive changes to society. 

TYO has changed my life. I really feel like I belong here. The people are so wonderful - they give us plenty of space to share our thoughts and ideas, so I always feel comfortable being myself. And it’s such a special feeling how everyone welcomes us with songs, food, and fun surprises.

The teachers create incredible activities. My favorite is when we mix music with drawing in our classroom - it is so soothing and it sparks my creativity!

Every moment at TYO with my friends is unforgettable. Especially during summer. It can get really hot here, so I enjoy playing water games, cooling off, and laughing with my friends.
