“Honestly, when I joined TYO, my goal was altruistic: to help children.

When I was offered the opportunity to teach soccer, I was excited and happy because I wanted to bring joy to children in the ways I could, giving them a refuge from the atmosphere of violence and hardship.

Professionally, I aspire to be a sports teacher and dedicate my career to inspiring children and youth. And TYO gave me the opportunity to explore this pathway.

Gaining real-world experience and impacting the lives of kids I worked with fills me with pride and self-confidence.”

Mohammad Shabaro is a Sports major at An-Najah National University, and he was a volunteer in TYO’s Spring Program, working with children in 7th and 8th grades.
