Women’s Empowerment & Parenting Program (WEPP)
The prolonged conflict and its impact on gender dynamics and family structures have intensified gender-based violence. Our program aims to empower women who have experienced gender-based violence, enabling them to overcome trauma and emerge as leaders who break the cycle of poverty, violence, and inequality.
Through the Women’s Empowerment and Parenting Program (WEPP), we have provided a supportive environment for disadvantaged women to enhance their confidence and self-worth. This newfound self-awareness has been instrumental in improving their parenting skills. The program has offered a vital opportunity for women to enhance their confidence and self-worth.
This newfound self-awareness has been instrumental in improving their parenting skills. Women have participated in fitness, English, and mental health classes, with the objectives of fostering self-worth, strengthening self-esteem and self-confidence, and enhancing their social, health, and parenting skills
With support from Qatar Fund for Development, our program for women was developed.
