Library Day

Twice a month, TYO opens it doors on Saturday for children in our neighborhood and the larger Nablus community. It is important to us that TYO is a safe space for children to play both on the weekdays and the weekends. Last Saturday we hosted 30 children, ages 8 -12, to enjoy programming in our new libraries - hosted by TYO interns, fellows and volunteers. Children read My Arabic Library stories from our collection, made and decorated masks, played Right to Play games and helped create a poster to display in our hallways. [portfolio_slideshow]
